As part of the funding process from the BFI for getting support for THE SURVIVALIST, I was asked to make a ‘promo/trailer’ for the film. What I decided to do with my producers at The Fyzz was make a short prequel set in the world of the film. th MAGPIE was the result.
As part of the online release of SLR, I took part in a panel discussion about surveillance culture and privacy called “Who’s Watching Your Shadow” organised by Lighthouse, which is now online. This was months before Edward Snowden’s leak came out but I still think it’s timely and the other panellists were fascinating to listen to.
