He is the recipient of Northern Ireland Screen’s Bill Miskelly award. His short films have won several awards and have screened at over thirty international festivals, including the BFI London Film Festival.

His first spec script  THE MAN WITH ONE ARM was shortlisted for Scriptshadow’s Logline Contest. His spec script  EAST 11 was optioned by a leading independent production company, and his script THE SURVIVALIST has been shortlisted by Northern Ireland Screen for their New Talent Focus scheme, which funds low-budget feature films.
