The Survivalist screening in competition at Galway Film Fleadh

THE SURVIVALIST is screening in competition at the Galway Film Fleadh, Ireland’s leading international film festival.

The film is eligible for both Best Irish Feature and Best Irish First Feature competition. In addition, the Michael Lennox directed short film AWAYDAYS which serves as a prequel to THE SURVIVALISt will premiere in the short programme. The festival has a long history with the actors and director; Stephen Fingleton’s short films SHIRIN and SLR screened there, and Martin McCann has had numerous high profile roles in films that have screened, including the 2012 Fleadh feature JUMP. Galway is also actress Olwen Fouere’s city of birth, and she has a long history of performance in the area.
